Nothing Too Profound...

...Just fresh pics. Some of them are a few weeks old already, but good none-the-less! You can't tell from any of these shots, but her eyes are very very blue. They're bright enough for me to see my reflection in them when we're talking.

This is what happens when you have nothing weighing on your conscience...you sleep anywhere!

Not sure what she has to smile about, but this is what she does when she's dreaming (usually following a full dose of milk).

Early mornings are her favorite times.

Then again...she very much enjoys keeping us busy in the evening too.

That Was Quick! Thanks Craig!

Well, it was only listed two days on Craigslist, but my Lexus was sold and I transferred the title today (thanks Craig, whoever you are)! With a couple of bucks leftover Sarah and I celebrated with...meatloaf (no, not Meatloaf the rockstar, meatloaf the meat that is made into a loaf - seriously, it's pretty much my favorite food). Because of this we are now TOTALLY convinced that our decision to not send Sarah back to work in order to be here for Chloë is the right decision.

And now...the reason why anyone ever checks this blog...photos of the baby!

Possibly my favorite thing in the whole world.

She's got her mom's eyes and her dad's appetite!

"The Times They Are A-Changin'"

Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'
- Bob Dylan

Sarah and I have become convinced that the best thing to do in this time of our life is for the her to stay home and raise the baby - we really don't want to go to the expense, trouble, and risk that daycare presents. So, what we need is to figure out how to afford living without Sarah's income. One way is that we are trying to sell my car (contact me if you're interested) and think of ways for Sarah to work from home to just bring in some extra discretionary bucks. On top of that, we are praying for a miracle that will allow us to buy a house and not be sunk by an unrealistic mortgage payment...we don't want much, do we?!

Actually, from you the reader, we actually don't want much - only your prayers!

Here's what my car is (just add tinted windows)

We're really enjoying little Chloë these days. Our routine is starting to settle in. Sarah is really a great mother and we are growing closer every day as parents and partners! Chloë has the most spectacular smile - it's so big and wide and her eyes twinkle (she's definitely got her mother's eyes)! It's amazing what God can do through children.

...For the times they are a-changin'

And for those of you who don't realize that "brother" Dylan was influenced strongly by his Savior and His Word, check out the last stanza:
